Dong Kim, DDS
Background and Credentials
Dr. Kim is originally from Bethesda, Maryland, received his DDS from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1998. He graduated summa cum laude with honors and is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Tri-county Dental Association.
Dr. Kim has been practicing in the Coachella Valley since 1998. He is the owner of Pure Dental in Cathedral City since 2000. Palm Springs Life magazine has awarded him the Top Dentist Award every year since 2004 to present.
A Sincere Passion for Dentistry
His passion is provide excellent dental care for all patients from children to the elderly. Dr. Kim believes in treating not just the oral cavity, but the individual as a whole.
In His Free Time
Hobbies and interests include spending time with his family, church, golfing, fishing, tennis, basketball, and rooting for his hometown Washington Redskins. Dr. Kim also volunteers in free dental clinics for those who cannot financially afford dentistry.

Cynthia Tak, DDS
Background and Credentials
Dr. Tak graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and has been practicing in the Coachella Valley since 1998. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Tri-County Dental Association.
Dr. Tak was awarded the Palm Springs Life Top Dentist Award in 2017. She also believes in giving back to the community and volunteers her time in doing dentistry for the underserved.
